Welcome to the future of transports. Gone are the days of "stick-frame assembly". No longer is there a need for gusseting, plating, reinforcing, heavy I-beams or wood that begins to deteriorate the moment it gets wet.
Taking a page from aircraft construction, our all-aluminum trailers and truck bodies have a monocoque design. Every part of our trailer and truck body interlocks together. After interlocking, each panel is then huck-riveted and / or welded together forming walls, roofs and floors. The walls, roofs and floors then lock within the top and bottom rails which also huck rivet together, creating a straighter, stronger, more rigid product. With the exception of our steel suspension modules supplied by Watson & Chalin; every piece of our trailer and truck body is 6000 series aluminum.
The beauty in our interlocking design is also seen as the interiors of our truck and trailer bodies finish themselves out, either hard anodized or powder-coated. No interior sheeting necessary equals no added weight. Our approach to this construction results in a unit with unusual strength and an exceptionally clean appearance as all our fasteners are hidden behind the final step: exterior sheeting. This also allows for all wiring and testing of electronics prior to sheeting. Our top rail is designed to accept sheeting material of choice up to .0125 aluminum, Filon or FRP. Completing the construction is the installation of a .040 thick 1-piece seamless roof to fully enclose the unit.
